The Kent County Agricultural Society’s Scholarship Scheme for 2016 has recently been announced. This new Higher Education scheme offers financial assistance to all students between the ages of 18-25 who are resident in Kent and are studying/plan to study a Land-based degree at university. Successful candidates will be eligible for up to £1,000 per year and for up to three years of study, this could be used towards tuition fees, accommodation, living expenses or equipment. Students can apply for the scholarship at the beginning of their degree or part-way through the course, however there will only be three successful applicants.
The Kent Agricultural Society will monitor the successful applicants performance throughout their degree to ensure that their grades are worthy of extra financial support, if there are doubts then the support will be removed.
